Brakebush Chicken in Wells, MN seeks a Human Resources Associate (1st Shift) to support HR & Safety initiatives. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, training records, benefits questions, and safety support, interfacing with plant personnel.

The role is nonexempt, with a salary range of $47,000–$51,000 plus bonus opportunities and a robust benefits package, including 401(k), health, dental and vision coverage, PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year HR experience or 2+ years HR-type role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nonexempt recruiting and onboarding; manages applicant tracking and preemployment paperwork.
• Coordinates plant onboarding program; conducts new hire orientations.
• Supports employee safety, benefits & wellness programs and events.
• Maintains EHS program records (training, incidents, audits, metrics).
• Routes facility calls and directs visitors to Wells facility.
