Job summary

Roots Landscape is seeking a Plant Health Care (PHC) Technician to maintain the health of trees and landscapes using environmentally responsible practices. You will perform routine PHC treatments, monitor plant health, and assist senior technicians while developing your skills.

You will maintain equipment, provide professional client communications, and keep detailed service records to guide future care, all while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have valid non expired PA Applicator License.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass an employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to present all proper documentation for the E-Verify process.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine PHC treatments, including fertilization, pest management, and disease control.
• Monitor plant health and report findings to senior technicians or management.
• Assist senior tech with advanced treatments while developing your skills.
• Maintain PHC equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Keep detailed service records and make recommendations for future plant care.
• Follow all safety guidelines and compliance requirements in the field.
