Job summary

BaisakhLab is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Bioinformatics to lead the integration of large-scale multi-omics datasets and develop computational pipelines. You will apply machine learning to decipher sequencing data into biological insights and collaborate with wet-lab and field scientists for validation.

The project aims to elucidate molecular mechanisms of complex plant traits and guide molecular breeding strategies for sugarcane and other crops.

Qualifications

• MS degree with at least three years of documented experience in analyzing high-throughput sequencing data.
• Experience leading integrative analyses across genomics, transcriptomics and phenomics encouraged.
• Strong collaboration skills with wet-lab and field scientists required.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of large-scale multi-omics datasets and build analyses pipelines.
