Job summary

Talentify in Blanchester, OH seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with FP&A leadership experience in a manufacturing setting. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, partnering with operations to drive performance and strategic initiatives.

The role offers hands-on cost accounting exposure, monthly close support, and opportunities to advance into broader plant finance and FP&A leadership within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or manufacturing finance.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; automotive industry experience valued.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Proven experience with large data sets and turning data into insights.
• Solid understanding of month-end close and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Excel and general systems aptitude.
• Experience with SAGE, AS400, or similar ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis for the manufacturing site.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operations and strategic decisions.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and plant leadership to improve financial and operational performance.
• Support monthly close activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist with cost accounting, inventory analysis, and other manufacturing finance initiatives.
• Develop robust financial models and scenario analyses for planning and decision-making.
• Create executive-level reporting packages and present key business insights to leadership teams.
• Drive continuous process improvements across reporting, planning, and analysis functions.
• Support ERP reporting and optimization efforts (SAGE, AS400).
• Act as a trusted business partner to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business problems.
