The State of Indiana is hiring a Plant Foreman at the Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, IN. You will supervise a shift, ensure production schedules are met, and maintain records and reports under guidance from leadership.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years in production, with substitution options. Comprehensive benefits accompany full‑time employment.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing areas including equipment maintenance and setup.
• Ability to follow production schedules and monitor quality of work.
• Ability to resolve operational problems.
• Ability to supervise offenders performing work with accuracy per custody policy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise offender workers in the production work of assigned shop.
• Provide on-the-job training to offenders in manufacturing, processing, and shipping.
• Ensure offenders register and fulfill training per USDOL Apprenticeship Program.
• Perform or supervise setup and maintenance of equipment.
• Provide safety training to offender workers for assigned areas.
• Monitor quality control of finished goods and ongoing work.
• Maintain Workday attendance as an essential function.
