Carlex Glass Manufacturing in Nashville, TN seeks an Industrial Plant Floor Supervisor to lead operators toward safe, reliable, high-quality output. You will run kickoff meetings, set clear goals, and coach teams on safety, attendance, training, and 5S.

You’ll investigate injuries and near misses, implement fixes, and audit safety and quality programs. This role requires a hands-on, analytical approach and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering preferred, not required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/production environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead kickoff meetings to set production and quality goals.
• Coach on safety, performance, attendance, training, 5S, and quality.
• Ensure teams have information to work safely and meet standards.
• Lead investigations of injuries and near misses; implement fixes.
• Audit safety, training, and quality; drive countermeasures to completion.
• Maintain TS16949 and other customer certifications compliance.
• Allocate people to shifts; balance skills and priorities.
• Apply fair disciplinary actions when needed.
• Coordinate with materials planning and logistics for supply.
• Review operator data; verify production data accuracy.
• Process timekeeping, payroll, and attendance data precisely.
• Assist preventive maintenance to sustain equipment health.
