Job summary

Locke Solutions, a rapidly expanding small to medium-sized company, seeks a dedicated Safety Advisor to develop, implement, and monitor safety programs across our facilities. You will identify hazards, conduct audits, ensure OSHA compliance, and lead training to promote a culture of safety.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, incident investigation, and continuous improvement to protect employees and support safe operations in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of safety management experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to mitigate safety risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software; CSP/OHST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices.
• Train employees on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed safety documentation, manuals, guidelines, and protocols.
• Perform risk assessments and implement control measures to reduce hazards.
• Organize safety meetings, drills, and safety-related trainings.
• Provide safety information and updates to staff to foster a safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Analyze safety data and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
