Sazerac Company is seeking an Operations Accountant - IBD to perform cost accounting, asset control, and month-end closing duties. The role supports journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Timely and Accurate Close: Support the timely and accurate close of the P&L and Balance Sheet by WD6; prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Account Analysis: Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and ensure resolution of reconciling items.
• AOP: Support the creation of the Annual Operational Plan by compiling data and analyzing volume, costs, inflation, and productivity initiatives.
• Reporting: Improve Monthly Reporting Process through automation and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Audit: All steps necessary to prepare for annual audit and supply information to auditors.
• Internal Controls: Maintain the integrity of the company’s financial controls and safeguarding of assets.
• Financial Results Focused: CPC attainment, variance analysis, and performance improvement.
• Drive for Results: Apply mindset to all priority disciplines.
