Job summary

Sazerac is seeking an Operations Accountant IBD to manage cost accounting, asset control, and month-end close for one or more business units. Responsibilities include variance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting, with emphasis on improving processes and internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's in finance or accounting (or relevant experience), strong analytical skills, and ability to collaborate across departments in a plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Cost accounting and asset control, including month-end close and variance analysis.
• Forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting for assigned units.
• Develop and audit inventory control procedures and conduct physical inventories.
• Support standard setting, BOMs/Routes and item setup.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Supply-Chain, Logistics and Plant Ops for accurate reporting.
