Job summary

Dauch Corporation's North Vernon, IN plant is seeking a Plant Finance Manager to lead financial planning and controls for the facility. You will partner with the plant manager and program teams to drive cost improvements, manage ledgers, inventory reporting, and compliance across local functions.

The role requires a strong accounting/finance background and manufacturing ERP experience, with advanced degrees or certifications considered a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Advanced degree and/or accounting certifications preferred.
5+ years progressive leadership experience.
Experience with manufacturing, accounting and finance concepts, ERP systems.
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and administer financial control plans for the facility.
Compare performance against budget and provide reports to plant manager and group controller.
Conduct cost studies, analyses and new business evaluations.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
Prepare accounting ledgers, plant reports, corporate reports, and related supporting detail.
Ensure accurate accounting classification of expenditures and reliable balance sheet and income statement reporting.
Review inventory control and reporting procedures to ensure accuracy of inventory records and costs.
Coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
Manage local tax and treasury at the plant level.
Document local accounting policies and procedures.
Manage local accounting personnel.
Collaborate with the Program Management Team on IPM and Agile tasks.
