Job summary

Dauch Corporation seeks a Plant Finance Manager at the North Vernon, IN site to oversee financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing, and accounting controls in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include planning, budget adherence, cost analysis, and coordinating with auditors and tax authorities. Lead accounting staff and ensure GAAP compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced degree and/or accounting certifications preferred.
• 5+ years progressive leadership experience.
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing, business, accounting and finance concepts, ERP systems.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer financial control plans for the facility, including profit planning, budgets, cost standards, and capital investment.
• Compare performance against budget and provide reports to the plant manager and controller.
• Lead cost studies, analyses, and new business evaluations to identify cost reductions and profit improvements.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Prepare or supervise ledgers, plant/corporate reports, and related schedules.
• Ensure accurate accounting classification of expenditures and inventory costs.
• Interface with auditors and tax authorities; manage plant tax and treasury activities.
• Oversee local accounting staff and support IPM/Agile tasks with PM Team.
