Job summary

Molex, a Koch company, is seeking an experienced Plant Controller for our Monee, IL Busbar facility. You will own the monthly close, cost accounting, and performance metrics, partnering with plant leadership to drive profitability and efficiency.

Responsibilities include standard costing, variance analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling to guide strategic and day-to-day decisions. Strong communication with leadership and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Strong expertise in standard costing, manufacturing accounting, variance analysis, and inventory management.
• Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing operations as a finance business partner.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills translating financial data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly financial close process with management reporting and variance analysis.
• Maintain internal controls and governance to safeguard assets.
• Lead standard costing, overhead absorption, labor rates, and material costing.
• Analyze manufacturing variances including PPV, labor efficiency, inventory adjustments.
• Oversee tariff recovery, duty management, and product cost absorption.
• Lead the annual operating plan and 12-month rolling forecast.
• Develop and communicate KPIs on productivity, labor efficiency, inventory, and cash flow.
