Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting practices.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or union environment.
• Experience in cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Hyperion Essbase.

Responsibilities

• Be a financial leader at the plant for the site leader and staff.
• Act as the primary contact for RASC, G.O. and plant personnel on financial matters.
• Review financial records and ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
• Perform period, quarterly and yearly closings and conduct financial analyses.
• Prepare period and annual reports for group controller and agencies.
• Develop financial analyses including trends and opportunities.
• Prepare cost estimates on new products and analyze pricing quotes.
• Investigate whether new business aligns with company strategy.
• Analyze capital projects and control assets and expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with SQR and Kroger Manufacturing principles.
