Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a Financial Analyst in Dearborn, MI, to lead labor and overhead budgeting and forecast activities for Dearborn Consolidated plants. You will perform month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations, while developing weekly reports and presenting to operations management.

You will collaborate with the DTD operations team, review overtime, and support program cost tracking and ad hoc analyses. A strong Excel skillset and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead analyst for Plant Labor and Overhead Budget/Forecast, including month-end close and forecast reporting.
• Perform journal entries, MICS entries and account reconciliations to support actions.
• Develop weekly management reports and lead meetings with operations management to review financials.
• Analyze labor and overhead budget based on projected load hours for program content.
• Provide analytical support for special studies and ad hoc initiatives.
• Support Dearborn Consolidated Plant by preparing daily cost package for reviewing plant performance.
• Coordinate budget targets monthly and support weekly overtime reporting.
