Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited in Corsicana, TX seeks a Plant Accountant to provide financial, cost accounting, and analytical support for the Corsicana chemical manufacturing plant. You will partner with the Plant Controller to deliver accurate reporting and drive cost efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 4–7 years of experience, with SAP experience in GL, costing, procurement and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 4–7 years relevant experience.
• SAP experience in GL, Costing, Procurement and Inventory in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and reporting for the plant.
• Manage inventory accuracy and cost accounting.
• Perform month-end close and prepare journal entries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
• Assist with audits and compliance (GAAP, SOX).
• Collaborate with plant leadership to drive cost efficiency.
