Job summary

Plant Controller position in Greensboro, NC for a manufacturing facility with ~200 employees. You will oversee all financial functions, including cost accounting, payroll oversight, A/P, A/R, and financial controls, reporting to the Plant Manager and partnering with operations and engineering leaders.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep manufacturing financial knowledge, and the ability to connect plant performance with financial outcomes to drive cost reduction and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing accounting and cost accounting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of standard cost accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, manufacturing costing, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the Greensboro plant.
• Supervise accounting staff and partner with Plant Manager and cross-functional leaders.
• Drive cost control, productivity, profitability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage payroll, AP, AR, and intercompany reconciliations; ensure financial controls and audits.
