Job summary

Blue Signal Search seeks a Director of Finance & Controller to lead our finance organization and drive sustainable growth for our Food Manufacturing operation. You will oversee financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, and a growing accounting team to ensure timely, accurate close across all entities.

You will mentor staff, implement robust controls, and collaborate with executives to optimize cost management, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits.
• Ability to lead and mentor accounting team and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reporting, P&L, balance sheet, and KPI analysis.
• Lead timely tax reporting across jurisdictions and comply with state regulations.
• Oversee accounting team including AP/AR; mentor staff.
• Develop and enforce department policies and internal controls.
• Collaborate with executives and auditors; manage audits.
• Support month-end close and financial planning processes.
