Job summary

Van Beek Natural Science seeks a Director of Finance & Controller to lead financial integrity and strategic growth. You will guide month-end close, cost accounting, and internal controls across multi-site operations in IA/MI with global collaboration. Expect high-impact BI, budgeting, and capital planning.

You will partner with CEO and manufacturing leaders, mentoring a lean finance team and ensuring compliance while driving profitability and market expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience; 10+ preferred.
• Industry: manufacturing or inventory-heavy environment; cost accounting strongly preferred.
• CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred; MBA optional with experience.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close with GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory controls, and standard costing.
• Lead treasury, cash management, and external audits/compliance.
• Drive FP&A, budgeting, rolling cash flow, and ROI analyses.
