Job summary

Carolina Foods, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician for our Pineville, NC facility. You will monitor and repair gas-fired boilers, HVAC, glycol systems, wastewater treatment, and related plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and mentoring junior technicians in multi-craft skills to support a growing food manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: technical schooling and/or certifications in mechanical or electrical trades.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility regularly to identify maintenance needs and hazards.
• Operate and maintain maintenance tools and equipment.
• Generate work requests for internal and contract maintenance.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and monitor equipment performance.
• Document emergency work as required.
• Assist contract maintenance providers.
• Mentor multi-craft technicians to improve plant-system skills.
• Perform other duties in plant and office areas.
