Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Utility Worker to assist with building and equipment upkeep, loading/unloading deliveries, painting, and basic plant cleaning. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional night/weekend overtime and on-the-job training.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Forklift and tool operation skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and basic hand/power tools.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant cleaning operations using floor scrubbers and cleaning devices.
• Paint and perform light maintenance tasks.
• Operate forklifts and lifts to move materials.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and production receiving.
• Maintain facility grounds and perform snow removal and related tasks.
• Under supervision, operate shuttle or route trucks when certified.
