Job summary

Philips Recruiting Services / Philips Automotive Recruiting is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and operations of a manufacturing facility. You will lead building systems, utilities, and safety programs to support safe, efficient production.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience managing preventive maintenance, capital improvements, and external contractors in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of facilities management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing building systems, industrial utilities, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and compressed air systems.
• Experience with capital projects, budgets, contractors, and facility improvements.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and safety requirements.
• Experience with CMMS software preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations including building maintenance, utilities, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and other systems.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead and coordinate facility maintenance personnel, contractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective work.
• Manage capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, fire safety, environmental regulations, and building codes.
• Develop and manage the facilities operating budget, including expenses and contracts.
• Identify and implement energy efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and EHS teams to support production requirements.
