Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering (or related field).
• 3-7 years of experience in facilities engineering or plant engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), AutoCAD or similar design tools, CMMS platforms, and project management tools.
• Preferred: Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Professional Engineer (PE) license, or LEED accreditation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross‑functionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of plant buildings, structures, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other infrastructure.
• Manage plant utility systems including compressed air, steam, water treatment, natural gas, and electrical distribution.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute facility improvement and expansion projects from concept through commissioning.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for all facility-related equipment and systems.
• Source, manage, and oversee external contractors and vendors for facility-related services and projects.
• Ensure all facility operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations including building codes, fire safety, and environmental standards.
• Partner with the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team to maintain a safe working environment and support audits and inspections.
• Develop and manage the facilities maintenance and capital budget; identify cost‑saving opportunities.
