Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules to ensure peak equipment performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical failures on automated production machinery to maintain consistent output.
- Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and repair manuals to perform precise equipment adjustments and installations.
- Actively participate in site-wide safety initiatives and emergency response protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to document repairs, track parts inventory, and analyze equipment health trends.
- Conduct visual inspections and performance testing on high-voltage systems, pneumatics, and servo-driven components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt to shifting production demands in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting 480V electrical systems, PLC controls, and pneumatic circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with digital maintenance tracking software and standard office suites.
- Commitment to workplace safety standards and the ability to work in varying temperature‑controlled environments.
Preferred Skills
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent vocational certification.
- Specific experience maintaining high‑speed food processing equipment such as Multivac, Textor, or Weber systems.
- Prior involvement in HAZMAT response teams or industrial safety committees.
- Familiarity with vision systems and advanced automation integration.
