Job summary

Bayloff Metal Stamping is seeking a Plant Equipment Reliability Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will handle emergencies, perform scheduled maintenance, and verify repairs on stamping presses, robots, and related systems.

You will test and troubleshoot using schematics, rewire motors, align components, and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and quality across a 24-hour facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus a completed craft apprenticeship, or equivalent education and production maintenance experience.
• 2+ years in general machine maintenance with at least 1 year supporting stamping presses and related equipment.
• 2+ years in manual and automated welding, MIG welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own installation, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance for production and facility equipment.
• Handle emergency/unplanned repairs; perform scheduled maintenance during service windows.
• Test assets, analyze data and schematics, repair or replace relays, switches, motors and sensing devices.
• Rewire motors, bearings, align spindles and clutches, verify performance after repair.
• Install and maintain control hardware, pressure-sensing and flow-measuring devices.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for welding equipment and robotic systems.
• Lead 8D problem solving and corrective actions to eliminate chronic issues.
