Job summary

3M is seeking a Plant Engineering Supervisor in the United States to lead the maintenance department for production. You will supervise maintenance tasks, manage personnel, and drive equipment reliability to maximize uptime.

Qualified candidates have a relevant degree with 4+ years of maintenance experience and supervisory background. Travel up to 5% domestically may be required; relocation assistance may be authorized. 3M offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher with 8 years of maintenance/manufacturing experience.
• Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance tech with 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of maintenance/manufacturing experience.
• Previous supervisory/management experience in private, public, government or military environments.
• Experience with daily tier management and Kaizen improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and technical direction for maintenance tasks to maximize equipment effectiveness.
• Schedule and direct maintenance tasks and diagnose equipment issues as required.
• Identify and support efforts to drive improvement in equipment reliability.
• Promote a safe and sustainable working environment through modeling safe behaviors.
• Represent plant leadership in supervision coverage for shifts and on-call duties.
