Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc. in Sumter, South Carolina seeks a Plant Engineering Manager to lead the site engineering function, including Automation and Process Engineering.

You will drive SQDC performance, develop high-performing technical teams, and execute CtW initiatives in collaboration with the Site BD Excellence Manager. You will collaborate across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and BD Excellence to deploy asset care, reliability, and maintenance excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
• 7–10+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience.
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing managers or technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement principles.
• Knowledge of Reliability/Asset Care systems and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering input into Strategy Deployment and site master plan.
• Cascade KPIs aligned to SQDC priorities across engineering teams.
• Align engineering roadmap to BD Excellence roadmap and maturity expectations.
• Drive Zero Loss and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering domains.
• Collaborate with Asset Care to ensure high equipment uptime and lifecycle management.
• Lead cross-functional efforts with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and EHS.
