Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc is seeking an Associate Director Manufacturing to lead the Sumter, SC operations. You will drive safety, quality, and delivery improvements, ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO, OSHA, and BD Excellence standards while advancing the BD Production System initiatives.

You will guide cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and push continuous improvements to enhance OEE, asset reliability, and cost efficiency across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field).
• 5+ years in Operations Management experience.
• 5+ years cross-functional experience in Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, or Finance, supervisor/manager level preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of total manufacturing experience.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and social skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, teach, & train.
• Organized & systems/process driven.
• Detail oriented with high level of problem solving and analytical skills.
• Results & solution oriented.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Solid discernment related to P&L.
• General understanding of GMP, ISO, OSHA & EAP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads development, execution, and monitoring of operations to meet safety, quality, delivery and performance goals.
• Ensures compliance with safety, environmental regulations and company policies.
• Drives continuous safety improvements (process safety, ergonomics, facilities, equipment).
• Promotes BD Productions System/BD Excellence and Kaizen as core elements.
• Drives end-to-end reductions in Zero Loss; improves OEE and asset reliability.
• Oversees annual budgets and tracks progress to meet financial targets.
• Collaborates with R&D, HR, QA, Finance, Materials, Marketing on cross-functional initiatives.
