Job summary

Voyant Beauty is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the plant-level engineering and maintenance team, focusing on daily operations, maintenance planning, and equipment reliability to support production efficiency and compliance.

You will supervise the team, develop preventative maintenance programs, and collaborate on capital projects with the Engineering Director while ensuring safety and regulatory adherence across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 1-3 years supervisory experience in maintenance or engineering roles.
• 4-6 years in plant maintenance or engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer products industries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of the plant's engineering and maintenance team, ensuring effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of all equipment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support production goals.
• Assist in managing the department budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring proper allocation of resources such as tools, parts, and manpower to meet operational demands.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Director on plant-specific capital projects, coordinating on-site support, resources, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Supervise, train, and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring skills development and effective performance management to meet plant objectives.
• Ensure maintenance and engineering activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements, promoting a culture of safety within the plant.
