Job summary

Leprino Foods in Lubbock, TX, is seeking a Plant Engineering Manager II to guide our state-of-the-art cheese and dairy ingredient facility toward new growth. You will lead Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable plant operations and champion continuous improvement.

You will plan and oversee capital projects, prepare the annual engineering budget, coordinate with Production, and mentor managers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in food manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years of progressive people leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.
• Plan, write, and oversee capital projects from construction to upgrades.
• Prepare the annual engineering budget and multi‑year capital programs.
• Coordinate with Production to adjust maintenance schedules and support.
• Create project documentation, operating procedures, and training materials.
• Lead safety initiatives within Engineering and Maintenance.
