Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle, USA, is seeking an Engineering Manager based in Erlanger, KY to lead plant site engineering, develop the capital plan for NA, manage project engineers, and drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

You will oversee capital projects from scope to budget, coordinate equipment layouts, and partner with global teams to align on engineering standards and safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred.
• 4-6 years experience in process/production environment.
• 3-5 years experience with machine/part design to improve production efficiency.
• Technical System Analysis and Understanding.
• Familiarity with OSHA Regulations, FDA Regulations, and Presentation & Documentation Skills.
• Process equipment knowledge including dosing, mixing, filling, conveying powders/liquids.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute 3-year site capital plan with ROI.
• Oversee capital project activities including scope, funding, planning, budgeting and progress reporting.
• Provide engineering analysis, drawings, and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate selection, design and layout of processing equipment and control systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety, quality and food safety rules.
