Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle, USA in Erlanger, KY, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead plant site engineering, develop capital plans, manage project engineers, and drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements across the North America operations.

You will oversee equipment upgrades, lean initiatives, SOP development, and safety compliance while partnering with global engineering teams to meet production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• MBA preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in process or production environment.
• 3-5 years experience with machine/part design to improve production efficiency.
• Familiarity with OSHA and FDA regulations.
• Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma experience with leadership of teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a 3-year site capital plan with ROI focus.
• Oversee capital project activities including scope, funding, plans, budgeting.
• Provide engineering analyses, drawings, and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate design and layout of processing equipment and control systems.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve reliability.
