Job summary

Southwire Company LLC in Pleasant Prairie, WI seeks an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to provide daily leadership and a long‑term vision for the Engineering and Maintenance departments at the Pleasant Prairie facility.

The role is responsible for developing, implementing and measuring critical engineering processes and programs in the plant as well as overseeing the Maintenance department and safety/quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in engineering leadership within manufacturing and heavy industrial environments.
• Engineering experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Engineering and Maintenance.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce breakdown costs.
• Drive process improvements and implement manufacturing processes.
• Manage a team of engineers and technical professionals toward goals.
• Provide leadership, develop the team, and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Devise and implement engineering strategies to meet objectives.
• Recommend innovative solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Evaluate performance and drive improvements across engineering.
