Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is a global flavor leader seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager at the Zatarain's Plant in Gretna, LA. This role reports to the Plant Manager and directs Project Engineering, Process Engineering, Building Maintenance, Security, and Maintenance Operations to meet reliability, safety, quality, and cost goals.

You will drive capital project planning, ensure proper funding, and monitor progress while fostering open communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in manufacturing with progressive leadership.
• Process engineering/analytical process mapping experience.
• Knowledge of CMMS and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of Maintenance, Project and Process Engineering.
• Set goals, monitor progress, and evaluate staff performance.
• Lead cost and waste reduction, safety, and quality improvements.
• Ensure capital projects are planned and funded properly.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
