REA MAGNET WIRE CORP in Ashland, Virginia, seeks a Plant Engineering & Maintenance Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance program that minimizes downtime and extends asset life. You will oversee budgets, capital projects, and MRO activities while driving safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, PLC and Controls) or related technical field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in maintenance and engineering within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficient in CMMS and data driven decision making.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing tools with focus on total productive maintenance and lean flow.
• Three (3) years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; proficiency in project management software.
• CAD experience; Magnet Wire experience or knowledge; Six-Sigma.

Responsabilidades

• Leads, supervises, trains, develops, and mentors lead men, technicians and personnel in the maintenance and engineering department.
• Plans, coordinates, and leads activities and systems necessary to ensure safe effective asset maintenance management of all production equipment and facilities.
• Uses results of internal and external audits to drive improvement. Acts as Quality Management Representative for the plant.
• Recommends capital investment as necessary to maintain uptime and utilization necessary to support the achievement of the production plan.
• Implements action plans to achieve flexibility of the work force and identifies training needs for all direct reports.
• Communicates those needs to Human Resources and helps to implement action plans that drive the development and analytical skill within the departments.
• Mantains operating budget for facilities engineering and maintenance.
• Support operations, process and quality in scrap reduction and process control projects.
• Interprets company policy for direct reports and serves as a role model in the fair and consistent administration of all policies and procedures.
• Develops and encourages a high level of employee morale and engagement.
• Other work related duties as assigned.
