Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of manufacturing management experience leading teams.
• Strong background in manufacturing operations, maintenance management, and industrial equipment systems.
• Experience managing facility infrastructure, utilities, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance.
• Environmental certification in RCRA and DOT hazardous waste compliance.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and hazardous waste recordkeeping.
• Excellent leadership and people management with contractors.
• Ability to analyze drawings, blueprints, equipment specifications, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with PLCs, CNC, robotics, and automation is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Maintenance Department, ensuring safe, reliable operation of plant equipment.
• Provide technical expertise for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, and installing equipment.
• Develop proactive preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Maintain building and grounds infrastructure, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Ensure all systems comply with codes, regulations, and standards.
• Serve as Fire Marshal and drive safety improvements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, QA, R&D, Purchasing, HR, and vendors.
• Support capital expenditure planning and vendor evaluations.
• Manage maintenance personnel and outside contractors, including coaching and performance management.
• Coordinate modifications for new product launches and growth.
• Oversee hazardous waste storage, documentation, and shipping per regulations.
• Maintain environmental compliance programs and permits.
• Manage budgets and resources to meet yearly objectives and long-term goals.
• Drive continuous improvements in safety, reliability, and cost savings.
• Promote workplace safety and regulatory compliance across the facility.
