Airgas in Cleburne, TX is hiring a Plant Engineer to support safety, reliability, and efficiency across plant processes. You’ll design and implement projects, control costs, and collaborate with corporate and field teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering.
• 1+ years of operational experience.
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to perform under stress and time constraints.
• Comfortable in both Corporate and Field environments.
• Problem solving ability to define, design, specify, control costs and implement projects.
• Has full range of motion and ability to lift 55 lbs.
• Willing to travel 1–15 days with little advance notice.
• Must be reachable 24/7.
• Ability to read/write routine business reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Supports and complies with safety, health, and environmental procedures.
• Supports process safety management and risk management practices.
• Assists with permit reporting and monitoring requirements.
• Define, design, and control costs for projects to improve safety, reliability, or efficiency.
• Designs plant processes with instruments, controls, engines, and related systems.
• Recommends changes to improve economy in production methods and material cost.
• Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications.
• Plans utilization of production facilities to improve efficiency.
• Directs engineering projects within assigned area.
• Provides technical support for plant production and maintenance.
