Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain and repair equipment including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
• Maintain the building and related systems.
• Hold certifications and/or licenses in a trade related to healthcare engineering.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Certification and/or licensing in a healthcare engineering trade (e.g., Steam boiler, HVAC).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
