Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA, is a community hospital delivering medical, surgical and emergency care with a staff of over 900. The Facilities/Engineering team keeps equipment logs, maintains building systems, and ensures a safe environment for patients and staff.

The role requires experience in healthcare engineering trades, a valid driver’s license, and a relevant trade license; shift is days, with temporary employment status.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment.
• Maintains and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and carpentry.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specific trade that is directly related to healthcare engineering.
