Job summary

MedSpace Services is seeking a skilled healthcare engineering technician to maintain and repair critical hospital equipment and building systems. The role supports safety and reliability by keeping logs, diagnosing issues, and performing preventative maintenance across mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems.

Qualified candidates will have five years in acute healthcare settings, blueprints/schematics reading ability, and a state license in a relevant trade.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade related to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (with rotating weekend coverage)

Responsibilities

Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment. Maintains and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Maintains the building and its related systems. Certified and/or licensed in a specific trade that is directly related to healthcare engineering
