Job summary

AMERICAN FUJI SEAL in Bardstown, KY 40004 is seeking a Plant Engineer to partner with the Production Engineering and Maintenance teams to maintain mechanical and electrical control systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure the smooth production function of printing presses and related equipment.

This role requires collaboration on process design, PLC/SCADA understanding, and adherence to EPA and OSHA regulations, with a focus on safety, reliability, and quality improvements across the facility.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with significant manufacturing experience.
• Experience with electrical, electronic or mechanical systems in a plant environment.
• Familiarity with EPA and OSHA regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Maintenance and Electrician teams on daily equipment issues and projects.
• Assist in design and installation of new equipment and processes.
• Coordinate with OEMs in printing industry for machinery installations.
• Understand and work with Siemens PLC and Rexroth drive systems.
• Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics for troubleshooting and design.
• Basic PLC programming and HMI communication; LabVIEW experience a plus.
• Ensure compliance with EPA/OSHA and environmental directives.
• Support QA and maintenance programs to meet high-quality standards like BRC.
