Job summary

American Fuji Seal BTN is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems across the Bardstown plant. You will support reliable plant operations, minimize downtime, and ensure adherence to NFPA/NEC codes and company safety policies.

The role requires PLC knowledge, ability to read schematics, and hands-on experience with computer-based equipment. On-site work and potential overtime are involved in this manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electric control circuits or electronic technology is required.
• Two years of industrial service experience preferred.
• Alternatively, completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship with four years of training.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot plant electrical systems, PLCs, and computer-controlled equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist in installing new equipment, wiring, and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used.
• Follow safety policies, codes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering teams.
