Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Plant Electrician to ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical systems, perform repairs, inspections, and maintenance.

You will manage electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC systems, support capital projects, and drive safety improvements while maintaining maintenance work orders and documentation. The role focuses on on-site work at the York NE location, requires PLC knowledge, and offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000 along with a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience and/or education in an Industrial Electrician/Maintenance field
• Journeyman electrical license is required
• Understanding of PLC automation servers, processors, and control systems
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work meets safety standards and support incident investigations
• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance
• Create/modify/close CMMS work orders and document labor and parts
• Support capital projects with vendors and internal teams
• Maintain plant shop and maintenance tools
• Develop and update preventive maintenance plans
• Maintain detailed equipment records and site/system prints
• Plan and lead maintenance projects with Operations to avoid production downtime
• Maintain Enterprise Asset Management system and provide user training
• Estimate labor and equipment costs and support installation and upkeep of equipment
• Ensure operation of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC
