Job summary

Vylor invites applications for a Plant Electrician at our York, NE site. The role emphasizes safe operation of electrical systems, maintenance of controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC, plus supporting capital projects and documenting work orders.

You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams, ensure safety standards, and contribute to continuous production improvement. We require 2+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, valid driver’s license, and readiness to work extended hours

Qualifications

Requires 2+ years in Industrial Electrician/Maintenance.
Valid US driver’s license required.
Willing to work on elevated surfaces with fall protection.
Willingness to work extended hours including weekends/holidays as needed.
Knowledge of electrical, control, and HVAC systems helpful.

Responsibilities

Lead safe practices and drive risk reduction.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
Create/modify/close work orders in CMMS and document labor and parts.
Support capital projects with internal teams and vendors.
Maintain plant shop and maintenance tools.
Troubleshoot and maintain HMI systems (Rockwell).
Estimate labor costs and support equipment upgrades.
