Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking an Electrician to join our St. Joseph, Illinois facility. You will ensure operation of plant equipment, perform electrical repairs, and support safety and quality programs while working overtime during seasonal peaks.

The role requires Journeyman Electrician credentials, NEC knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and strong computer skills. Experience with SAP work orders and PLCs is a plus. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician with NEC knowledge and a valid driver’s license.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.
Willing to overtime and weekends during seasonal peaks.
Experience using SAP for work orders and parts inventory.

Responsibilities

Ensure operation of equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control devices.
Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections.
Review safety programs with leaders to ensure compliance with OSHA/PSM and safety procedures.
Suggest improvements to electrical systems and process controls; add new devices or hardware as needed.
Maintain detailed equipment records and drawings; support production uptime.
