Job summary

Vylor Inc. in Toledo, IA is seeking a Plant Electrician to ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, including controls, instrumentation, and HVAC, while supporting capital projects and continuous production.

The role requires 2 years of industrial electrician experience, and a Journeyman license may be required in some states, with familiarity with NEC, PLCs, Rockwell HMI, and CMMS, plus strong safety and documentation discipline.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience and/or education in Industrial Electrician/Maintenance.
• Journeyman electrical license may be required in some states.
• Ability to schedule work and follow through to completion.
• Understanding of the National Electric Code.
• Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems, HVAC, electrical systems, welding and fabrication.
• Basic process controls understanding.
• Understanding of PLC automation servers and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations by leading safety practices and risk reduction.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Create, modify, and close CMMS work orders with accurate labor and parts documentation.
• Provide maintenance support for capital projects with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain the plant shop and maintenance tools.
• Use predictive maintenance tools to identify issues and update maintenance plans.
• Maintain equipment records and site/system prints.
• Lead project work with Operations to avoid production downtime.
• Maintain Enterprise Asset Management system and train users.
• Troubleshoot HMI systems using Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE/ME.
• Estimate labor and equipment costs and support installation and upkeep of equipment.
