Job summary

Lhoist North America in North Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment (Allen Bradley) to maximize OEE and equipment availability.

You will work with high and low voltage systems, motor control circuits, transformers, and PLCs, ensuring safe operations and compliance with SQF and company standards. The role requires hands-on problem solving, documentation in CMMS, and participation in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 to 7 years electrical experience in industrial setting.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or technical program.
• Preferred: Journeyman license or Associate degree in industrial electrical technology.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical inspections, troubleshooting, repair and rebuild plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality systems (SQF).
• Maintain and troubleshoot motor control circuits and drives.
• Install and align electrical motors and calibrate sensors.
• Maintain documentation and complete work orders in CMMS.
