Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a skilled electrical/instrumentation technician to perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds across plant operations. This role aims to maximize plant OEE and equipment availability by minimizing unplanned downtime.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of electrical experience in heavy manufacturing, a journeyman license preferred, and familiarity with AutoCAD and SAP. Travel between locations is required (roughly 30–50%).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 to 7 years electrical experience in heavy manufacturing/mining preferred.
• Journeyman license preferred.
• Industrial electrical background required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and instrumentation inspections, repairs and rebuilds to ensure continuous operation.
• Comply with health, safety, and regulatory regulations at all times.
• Complete workplace inspections and document findings promptly.
