Job summary

Transmission & Distribution World in Grand Forks, ND seeks a skilled technician responsible for plant instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, program, document, upgrade, and layout/install equipment and systems.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, technical training or apprenticeship, and a Journeyman Electrician Card. 3–5 years of instrumentation/electrical experience and PLC programming are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical trade/apprenticeship or associate degree in a related field.
• Journeyman Electrician Card holders preferred.
• 3–5 years of instrumentation/electrical experience.
• Experience programming and/or PLC operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install instrumentation, electrical and control systems.
• Read and interpret instructions, manuals, MSDS and engineering drawings.
• Document maintenance work, calibrations and repairs.
• Train fellow workers and uphold safety practices.
• Work days or nights; overtime as required to meet goals.
