We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking Plant Electrician 2010s in our Oak Creek, Wisconsin location. This position is represented by We Energies L2150 Union.
The Plant Electricians support operations of company plants by normal and special maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant electrical systems including installation of new equipment, modification, and upgrading of existing equipment and isolating and restoring plant and substation equipment.
You will work a rotating 12hr shift that includes weekends and holidays.
Current pay range Journey level: $51.59 - $63.47/hr. subject to change based on union contract (starting rate will be based on experience level).
Current pay range Apprentice level: $25.36 - $46.82/hr. subject to change based on union contract (starting rate will be based on experience level).
Maintenance Selection System (MASS) - Other level: Ability to understand basic mechanical principles, visualize proper assembled form of objects, read and comprehend technical material; and skill in working basic mathematical problems. Suggested Preparation: Review basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, decimals, fractions) and review basic mechanical principles.
