Alamo Cement Company in San Antonio, Texas is seeking an Electric Technician to perform skilled electrical maintenance and repair across our cement plant equipment.

You will inspect, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems, install wiring per the National Electrical Code, and support safe, reliable plant operations. The role requires the ability to work extended hours and lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical/trade certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and PLC operation.
• Read blueprints and follow electrical codes.
• Willingness to work extended hours/overtime.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, repair and overhaul electrical equipment using test tools.
• Install wiring per NEC and company standards.
• Maintain electrical systems for facilities and equipment.
• Perform high voltage switching and operate generators.
• Comply with safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Work safely with co-workers and the public.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
